The Uttarakhand Board of Secondary Education has issued a notification to organize the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET I & II Exam) in 2024. Candidates who are interested in the test specifics and have met all qualifying requirements can read the notification and apply online.

Educational Qualifications for UTET I and II 2024

• For UTET Paper I: Sr Secondary & Graduation with B.T.C/ D.El.Ed/ D.Ed (Special Education)/ B.El.Ed

• For UTET Paper II: Degree with D.Ed/ B.Ed, B.El.Ed/ L.T./ Shiksha Shastri (Regular)or Sr Secondary with BA/ B.Sc.Ed/ B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed or BA/ B.Sc with B.Ed

How to apply for UTET I and II 2024

• Click on Register link and Register yourself for this Exam. After Registration login your account and follow below steps –

  • Fill the Online Application Form. Candidates are advised to note down his/her system generated Application Number. The candidate should supply all the details while filling the online Application Form and no columns shall be kept vacant. After successful submission of the data, Application number will be generated.

  • Candidate must upload his/her scanned images of Photograph, Signature and Left hand Thumb Impression. The scanned images of photograph, Signature and Thumb should be in jpg/jpeg format only. Size of the photo image must be greater than 10 Kb and less than 100 Kb. Size of the signature image must be greater than 5 Kb and less than 50 Kb. Size of the Thumb Impression image must be greater than 5 Kb and less than 100 Kb.

  • After filling the Application and Uploading images of photo, signature and Left hand thumb impression, Candidate can view and edit the data and photo if necessary.

  • Candidate has to pay examination fee through online payment mode using Net Banking, Credit Card or Debit Card only.

  • After Final Submission of the Online Application Form, candidate will take a printout of his/her Application Form, and retain for future reference.

Penalty – Wrong Answers for UTET I and II 2024

Candidates should note that there will be a penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.

Mobile Phones / Smart Watches / Electronic Devices are BANNED for UTET I and II 2024

• The use of any mobile phone (even in switched off mode), pager or any electronic equipment or programmable device or storage media like pen drive, smart watches, etc. or camera or blue tooth devices or any other equipment or related accessories either in working or switched off mode capable of being used as a communication device during the examination is strictly prohibited. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future examinations.

• Candidates are advised in their interest not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones or any valuable/costly items to the venue of the examination, as no arrangement for safe-keeping will be made at the venue of the examination. Commission will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.
