The Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering & Research (SAMEER) has issued a notification for the recruitment of various positions, including Project Assistant, Senior Research Scientist, and other vacancies on a contractual basis. Educational Qualifications for SAMEER PA-SRS Recruitment 2024

• SENIOR RESEARCH SCIENTIST – 

  • Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunications – Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Bachelor Degree in Technology (B.E. or B.Tech) or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology (M.E. or M.Tech) in the field of Electronics & Telecommunications, Electronics, Instrumentation & Controls, Microwaves or Masters in Electronics (M.Sc. Electronics) from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks.

  • Electronics – Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Bachelor Degree in Technology (B.E. or B.Tech) or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology (M.E. or M.Tech) in the field of Electronics & Telecommunications, Electronics, Instrumentation & Controls, Microwaves or Masters in Electronics (M.Sc. Electronics) from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks. Additionally it is desirable that the candidate is having Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree OR first hand skills in Project Management and HRM related activities.

• RESEARCH SCIENTIST – 

  • Electronics – Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Bachelor Degree in Technology (B.E. or B.Tech) or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology (ME or M.Tech) in the field in Electronics & Telecommunications, Electronics, Instrumentation & Controls, Microwave or Masters in Electronics (M.Sc Electronics) from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks.

  • Information Technology / Computer Science – Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Bachelor Degree in Technology (B.E. or B.Tech) or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology (M.E. or M.Tech) in Computer Science / Information Technology with minimum 55% marks.

• PROJECT ASSISTANT – 

  • Electronics – Diploma in Electronics/Medical Electronics from a recognized Technical Board with minimum of 55% marks.

  • Physics – B.Sc. (Physics) from a recognized university with minimum of 55% marks.

• Project Technician – 

  • Electronics – Candidates should have passed ITI (Electronics) from Govt. affiliated board of technical/vocational education and completed NCTVT with minimum of 55% marks.

  • Fitter – Candidate should have passed ITI (Fitter) from Govt. affiliated board of technical/vocational education and completed NCTVT with minimum of 55% marks.

  • Machinist – Candidate should have passed ITI (Machinist) from Govt. affiliated board of technical/vocational education and completed NCTVT with minimum of 55% marks.

  • Turner – Candidate should have passed ITI (Turner) from Govt. affiliated board of technical/vocational education and completed NCTVT with minimum of 55% marks.

How to apply for SAMEER PA-SRS Recruitment 2024

• Applications for all POSTS will be accepted ONLINE only.

• All interested candidates must login to https://recruit.sameer.gov.in till midnight of the CLOSING DATE of the advertisement. Instructions along with deadline for filling the forms are available in the same link. Once candidates fill the online information, s/he can edit it as s/he wants. Finally, the candidate/applicant must CLICK “FINAL SUBMIT” on which a PDF file will be generated. Candidates are required to get a printout of the PDF file and bring it along with all the originals and one set of photo-copies of all the original documents when appearing for the written test and interview.

• Candidates will NOT be allowed to appear for the written test/interview without print-out of the online submitted form (PDF file) as indicated above.

• Result of screening test (Written examination) will be announced and only those candidates who qualify will be called for interviews on the same date or on date scheduled which will be announced accordingly.

• Candidates should possess the prescribed experience in the one or more of the relevant fields as mentioned under the column “Experience” with documentary proof.

• The experience gained in Research Scientist/or equivalent posts will only be counted as relevant experience for Senior Research Scientist. Crucial date for counting experience will be the closing date of applications. The relevant experience possessed before acquiring the essential qualifications will not be counted. Selection will be made purely on merit and mere work experience of SAMEER will be no ground for preference.

Penalty – Wrong Answers for SAMEER PA-SRS Recruitment 2024

Candidates should note that there will be a penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.

Mobile Phones / Smart Watches / Electronic Devices are BANNED for SAMEER PA-SRS Recruitment 2024

• The use of any mobile phone (even in switched off mode), pager or any electronic equipment or programmable device or storage media like pen drive, smart watches, etc. or camera or blue tooth devices or any other equipment or related accessories either in working or switched off mode capable of being used as a communication device during the examination is strictly prohibited. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future examinations.

• Candidates are advised in their interest not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones or any valuable/costly items to the venue of the examination, as no arrangement for safe-keeping will be made at the venue of the examination. Commission will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.
