The Punjab National Bank (PNB) has issued a notice for the recruitment of Apprentice Vacancies under the Apprentices Act 1961. Candidates who are interested in the position information and have met all of the qualifying requirements can read the Notification and apply online.

Educational Qualifications for PNB Apprentice Recruitment 2024

• Graduate degree in any discipline from any Institute/ College/ University recognized/ approved by Govt. bodies/ AICTE/ UGC. The result of the qualification must have been declared on or before 30.06.2024 and candidate must produce Mark Sheets and Provisional/ Degree Certificate issued from the University / College / Institute as and when required by the Bank.

• The candidates applying for training seats of a particular State/ UT, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in local language of that State/UT.

How to apply for PNB Apprentice Recruitment 2024

• All eligible applicants are requested to register themselves for the apprenticeship entrance examination/ test by visiting “Career Opportunities” section of www.bfsissc.com and make the payment of the applicable examination fees as per the category stated under section “L” provided below. Thereafter, applicant will have to register and complete his/her profile, if not done before, separately in two different Government apprenticeship portals viz.

  • NAPS Apprenticeship Portal www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in (Apprentices Login / Registration Section) and

  • NATS portal www.nats.education.gov.in (Student Register/Login Section – applicable only for those who have passed their graduation on or after 1st Apr’2020).

• All applicants, post successfully registering in the respective apprenticeship portals NAPS and/or NATS, will receive email communication from BFSI SSC seeking your NAPS apprentice code number and/or NATS enrollment number.

• All applicants will have to provide their basic personal information, category, name of scribe (in case of PwBD candidates).

• Candidates should have valid email ID and mobile no. which should be kept active till the declaration of results. It will help him/her in getting call letter/advice/notifications etc. by email/SMS.

Penalty – Wrong Answers for PNB Apprentice Recruitment 2024

Candidates should note that there will be a penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.

Mobile Phones / Smart Watches / Electronic Devices are BANNED for PNB Apprentice Recruitment 2024

• The use of any mobile phone (even in switched off mode), pager or any electronic equipment or programmable device or storage media like pen drive, smart watches, etc. or camera or blue tooth devices or any other equipment or related accessories either in working or switched off mode capable of being used as a communication device during the examination is strictly prohibited. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future examinations.

• Candidates are advised in their interest not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones or any valuable/costly items to the venue of the examination, as no arrangement for safe-keeping will be made at the venue of the examination. Commission will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.

    • Minimum Age Limit: 20 Years

    • Maximum Age Limit: 28 Years i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 30-06-1996 and not later than 30-06-2004.

    • Age Relaxation is Applicable as per Rules.

    • For GEN/OBC Categories: Rs. 800/-+GST@18% = Rs.944/-

    • For Female/ SC/ ST Categories: Rs. 600/-+GST @18% = Rs.708/-

    • For PwBD Category: Rs. 400/-+GST @18% = Rs.472/-
