The Madras High Court has issued a notification for the recruitment of Examiner, Reader, Senior Bailiff, Junior Bailiff, Driver, and Other Vacancies. Educational Qualifications for MHC Various Recruitment 2024
- For Examiner, Reader, Senior Bailiff, Junior Bailiff/ Process Server, Process Writer, Xerox Operator Posts: Candidates Should Possess SSLC Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of Studies.
- For Driver Posts: Candidates Should possess VIII standard & valid Driving License for driving Motor Vehicle.
- For Copyist Attender, Office Assistant: Candidates Should possess VIII standard.
- For Cleanliness worker/Scavenger, Gardener, Watchman / Nightwatchman, Nightwatchman – Masalchi, Watchman – Masalchi, Sweeper – Masalchi, Waterman / Waterwoman, Masalchi: Must be able to read and write Tamil.
How to apply for MHC Various Recruitment 2024

FOR REGISTRATION: The applicants are required to visit https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in and enter the following details in the ‘Register yourself’ Column:-
- Email – ID
- Mobile No
- Name (As in the School Certificate or Govt. Gazette, if name changed)
- Aadhar Number
- Create New Password
- Retype Password
- Captcha Code
After the applicants have successfully entered all the details, a message will appear in the screen as “You have successfully registered” and an OTP will be sent to the Registered Mobile Number of the applicants. The applicants can login to the website by using their registesred e-mail id as the user id, the password and the OTP sent to their registered mobile number
- Applicants are advised to have a valid Mobile Number/valid personal E-mail ID. In case the applicants do not have a valid email ID/Mobile Number, they should create their own email ID and obtain mobile number before applying online and must keep the email account/mobile number active throughout the selection process.
- No request regarding change in Mobile Number/E-mail ID will be entertained. High Court will send various intimations relating to the recruitment through SMS/E-Mail only to the Mobile Number / Email ID registered during the process of recruitment.
- The Judicial Recruitment Cell, High Court, Madras will not be responsible in any manner, for non delivery of SMS/email at any stage either due to non-lifting of the mobile phone or if the same is out of coverage area or is out of order due to some technical fault on the part of the candidate or service provider.
- It will be the responsibility of the applicants to update himself by visiting the website of the Judicial Recruitment Cell, High Court, Madras, viz., https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in periodically for any important announcement.

The Judicial Recruitment Cell, High Court, Madras will not be responsible in case of any communication not reaching the applicant due to defect in given address, email ID, mobile number, etc.
Penalty – Wrong Answers for MHC Various Recruitment 2024
Candidates should note that there will be a penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.
MOBILE PHONES BANNED for MHC Various Recruitment 2024
- The use of any mobile phone (even in switched off mode), pager or any electronic equipment or programmable device or storage media like pen drive, smart watches, etc. or camera or blue tooth devices or any other equipment or related accessories either in working or switched off mode capable of being used as a communication device during the examination is strictly prohibited. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future examinations.
- Candidates are advised in their interest not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones or any valuable/costly items to the venue of the examination, as no arrangement for safe-keeping will be made at the venue of the examination. Commission will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.

- Maximum Age Limit for Most Backward Classes / Denotified Communities, Backward Classes (Other than Backward Class Muslims) and Backward Class Muslims: 34 Years
- Maximum Age Limit for For Others/ Unreserved categories [i.e., Candidates not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs]: 32 years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
- For BC (Other than Backward class Muslims)/ BCM/ MBC & DC/ Others: Rs. 500/- for each post
- For SC/ ST/ Differently abled Persons & Destitute Widows of all castes: Nil
