About the Organization / Job for Indian Army JAG Entry Recruitment 2024
The Indian Army has issued a notification for the 34th JAG Entry Scheme for Men and Women Law Graduates, beginning in April 2025. Candidates who are interested in the vacancy and have met all of the eligibility requirements can read the announcement and apply online.
Educational Qualifications for Indian Army JAG Entry Recruitment 2024
- Minimum 55% aggregate marks in their LLB Degree (three years professional after graduation or five years after 10 plus 2) examination.
- In addition, CLAT PG 2024 Score is mandatory for all candidates (including LLM qualified and LLM appearing candidates) who apply for courses starting in a particular year.
- The candidates should be eligible for registration as an advocate with Bar Council of India / State. Candidate should be from a College/University recognized by Bar Council of India.
How to apply for Indian Army JAG Entry Recruitment 2024

Applications will only be accepted online on website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

Click on ‘Officer Entry Apply / Login’ and then click ‘Registration’ (Registrations not required, if already registered on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in). Fill the online registration form after reading the instructions carefully.

After getting registered, click on ‘Apply Online’ under Dashboard.

A page ‘Officers Selection – ‘Eligibility’ will open.

Then click ‘Apply’ shown against Short Service Commission JAG Entry Course. A page ‘Application Form’ will open.

Read the instructions carefully and click ‘Continue’ to fill details as required under various segments. Personal information, Communication details, Education details and details of previous SSB.

‘Save & Continue’ each time before you go to the next segment. After filling details on the last segment, you will move to a page ‘Summary of your information’ wherein you can check and edit the entries already made.

Only after ascertaining the correctness of all your details, click on ‘Submit’.

Candidates must click on ‘Submit’ each time they open the application for editing any details
Penalty – Wrong Answers for Indian Army JAG Entry Recruitment 2024
Candidates should note that there will be a penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.
Mobile Phones / Smart Watches / Electronic Devices are BANNED for Indian Army JAG Entry Recruitment 2024

The use of any mobile phone (even in switched off mode), pager or any electronic equipment or programmable device or storage media like pen drive, smart watches, etc. or camera or blue tooth devices or any other equipment or related accessories either in working or switched off mode capable of being used as a communication device during the examination is strictly prohibited. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future examinations.

Candidates are advised in their interest not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones or any valuable/costly items to the venue of the examination, as no arrangement for safe-keeping will be made at the venue of the examination. Commission will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.
