The Indian Navy has issued an employment notification for the recruitment of Agniveer (MR) – 02/2024 Batch Course Commencing for unmarried Male and Unmarried Female applicants. The Indian Navy is a well-balanced and cohesive three-dimensional force capable of operating above, on, and below the ocean’s surface, effectively protecting our national interests.

The Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) commands the Indian Navy operationally and administratively from the Ministry of Defence’s Integrated Headquarters (Navy). He is supported by the Vice Chief of Naval Staff (VCNS) and three additional Principal Staff Officers: the Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (DCNS), the Chief of Personnel (COP), and the Chief of Material (COM).

The Navy has the following three Commands, each under the control of a Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief:-

• The Western Naval Command (Headquarters at Mumbai).
• The Eastern Naval Command (Headquarters at Visakhapatnam)
• The Southern Naval Command (Headquarters at Kochi)

The Western and the Eastern Naval Commands are ‘Operational Commands’, and exercise control over operations in the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal respectively. The Southern Command is the Training Command.

The application may be uploaded from Common Service Centres (CSC) across the country, fee of Rs 60 + GST. This facility is entirely optional.

• Candidates are advised in their interest not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones or any valuable/costly items to the venue of the examination, as no arrangement for safe-keeping will be made at the venue of the examination. Commission will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.
