The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has issued an employment notification for the recruitment of Post Graduate Teachers. Candidates who are interested in the position information and have met all of the qualifying requirements can read the Notification and apply online.

Educational Qualifications for HPSC PGT Recruitment 2024

• Candidates should possess Matric with Hindi / Sanskrit or 10+2 / B.A / MA / M.Sc / M.Com / HTET / STET (Relevant Subject).

• PGT Biology – M.Sc Zoology / Botany / Bio-Sciences / Bio-Chemistry /  Genetics / Micro Biology / M.Sc Zoology / Botany / Bio-Sciences / Bio-Chemistry / Genetics / Micro Biology / Plant Physiology/Bio-Technology/ Life Sciences/ Molecular Bio. with at least 50% marks provided that the applicant had studied Botany Plant Physiology / Bio-Technology / Life Sciences / Molecular Bio. with at least Zoology at Graduation level and B.Ed. from recognized university.

• PGT Chemistry – M.Sc. Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry with at least 50oh marks and B.Ed. from M.Sc. Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from recognized university

• PGT Commerce – M.Com. with accounting/Cost accounting/ Financial accounting as a major subject of study with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from recognized university. M.Com. with accounting/Cost accounting/ Financial accounting as a major subject of study with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from recognized university. Holders of degree of M.Com.in Applied / Business Economics shall not be eligible.

• PGT Economics – M.A. Economics / Applied Economics / Business Economics with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university M.A. Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university

• PGT English – M.A. English with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from recognized university 

• PGT Fine Arts – M.A. Fine Arts with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from recognized university.

• PGT Geography – M.A. Geography with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from recognized university.

• PGT Hindi – M.A. Hindi with atleast 50% marks and B.Ed. from recognized university.

• PGT History – M.A. History with atleast 50% marks and B.Ed. from recognized university.

• PGT Home Science – M.Sc. Home Science with atleast 50o% marks and B.Ed. from recognized M.Sc. Home Science with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from recognized university

• PGT Mathematics – M.A. / M.Sc. Mathematics / Applied Mathematics with Mathematics as one of M.A. / M.Sc. Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics with Mathematics as one of the subject at Graduation level with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from recognized university

• PGT Music – M.A. Music with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from recognized university.

• PGT Physical Education – M.A. Physical Education or M.P.Ed. with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of M.A. Physical Education or M.P.Ed. with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or Diploma in Physical Education (D.P.Ed.) or its equivalent from a recognized university.

• PGT Physics – M.Sc. Physics / Applied Physics / Nuclear Physics / Electronics Science / M.Sc. Physics / Applied Physics / Nuclear Physics / Electronics Science / Electronics with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from recognized university

• PGT Political Science – M.A. Political Science or Public Administration with at least 50% marks and M.A. Political Science or Public Administration with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university

• PGT Psychology – M.A. Psychology with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from recognized M.A. Psychology with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from recognized university

• PGT Sanskrit – M.A. Sanskrit with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from recognized university 

• PGT Sociology – M.A. Sociology with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from recognized university

• PGT Urdu – M.A. Urdu with at least 50o% marks and B.Ed. from recognized university

• PGT Punjabi – M.A. Punjabi with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from recognized university.

• Candidates are required to apply online on the website http://hpsc.gov.in.

• No other means / mode of submission of application will be accepted.

Penalty – Wrong Answers for HPSC PGT Recruitment 2024

Candidates should note that there will be a penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.

Mobile Phones / Smart Watches / Electronic Devices are BANNED for HPSC PGT Recruitment 2024

• The use of any mobile phone (even in switched off mode), pager or any electronic equipment or programmable device or storage media like pen drive, smart watches, etc. or camera or blue tooth devices or any other equipment or related accessories either in working or switched off mode capable of being used as a communication device during the examination is strictly prohibited. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future examinations.

• Candidates are advised in their interest not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones or any valuable/costly items to the venue of the examination, as no arrangement for safe-keeping will be made at the venue of the examination. Commission will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.
