The Government Medical College (GMC) in Chandrapur has issued an employment notice for the position of Junior and Senior Resident. Candidates who are interested in the job information and have met all of the eligibility requirements can read the notification and apply.
This is Gondwana University’s only medical college that is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences Nashik. This college is totally financed by the Maharashtra government. The college is administered by the Director of Medical Education and Research Mumbai (DMER).
Because of the rising industry in this area, health concerns have developed, and in order to provide better health care in this area, the first Govt. Medical College Chandrapur was constructed in this region in 2015.
This Government Medical College Chandrapur was established in 2015. This city is located at the confluence of the rivers Erai and Zarpat and is served by important state highways MH MSH 6, MH MSH 9, and MH SH 233, MH SH 243, and MH SH 264.
The college is associated with MUHS, Nashik. The first batch of 100 MBBS students was admitted in July 2015.Admission is based on CET/NEET (85% from state CET and 15% from All India PMT).
The college was founded on the grounds of T.B Hospital (100 beds). Chandrapur Civil Hospital (100 beds) and T.B Hospital, both administered by Maharashtra’s public health department, were amalgamated. The buildings of the Government Medical College are owned by the Women’s College of Chandrapur.
We have 50 acres of land for a new hospital, and the college buildings were built with the newest OT architecture, infrastructure, and services.
The launch of this institution in Chandrapur has a very appropriate motto: the Chandrapur district is an industrial district. Many industries, such as Chandrapur Super Thermal Power Station, BILT, ACC, Ambuja, and Manikgarh, have an impact on public health and cause a variety of health issues. MCI authorization was obtained in 2015 to address such issues and provide rapid and high-quality treatment using cutting-edge facilities and equipment.

The use of any mobile phone (even in switched off mode), pager or any electronic equipment or programmable device or storage media like pen drive, smart watches, etc. or camera or blue tooth devices or any other equipment or related accessories either in working or switched off mode capable of being used as a communication device during the examination is strictly prohibited. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future examinations.

Candidates are advised in their interest not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones or any valuable/costly items to the venue of the examination, as no arrangement for safe-keeping will be made at the venue of the examination. Commission will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.
