Educational Qualifications for DRDO Graduate Apprentice Technician Recruitment 2024

• Graduate Apprentice
  • Mechanical or Production or Industrial Production Engg.  / Electricals & Electronics or Electronics & Communication or Electronics & Instrumentation or Telecom Engg. / Aeronautical or  Aerospace Engg. / Civil Engg. or Equivalent / Metallurgy or Material science / Computer Science or Computer Engg. or Information Science & Technology Engg. – A degree in engineering or  technology granted by a statutory University / by an institution empowered to award such degrees by an act of Parliament.
  • B.Com / B.Sc (Electronics, Physics, Maths, Chemistry, Computer, Etc.) / B.A. (English / History / Finance / Banking / etc.) / BCA / BBA – A degree granted by a statutory University / by an institution empowered to award such degrees by an act of Parliament / Educational Institutes established by a State Government / by an institute recognised by the state government or central government.
• Diploma Trainee Apprentice
  • Mechanical or Production or Tool & Design / Electricals & Electronics or Electronics & Communication or Electronics & Instrumentation or Telecom Engg. / Computer Science Engg. or Computer Networking – A diploma in engineering or technology granted by a state council or board of technical educational established by a state government / by an university / by an institute recognised by the state government or central government as equivalent to a diploma. Sandwich course student who is undergoing training in order that he/she may hold a diploma in engg./technology.
• Apprentice Trainee
  • Machinist / Fitter / Turner / Electrician / Welder / Sheet metal worker / Computer operator & Programming Assistant (COPA) – A certificate in vocational course involving two years of study after the completion of the secondary stage of school education recognised by the AICTE. A Sandwich course student who is undergoing training in order that he may hold a certificate mentioned in the above.

How to apply for DRDO Graduate Apprentice Technician Recruitment 2024

1. Applications are to be submitted online through the following website/link: rac.gov.in or drdo.gov.in (‘What’s New’ section)

2. Candidates are requested to fill up correct details against all the fields along with uploading of scanned copies of all the mandatory documents (as per list).

3. The marks obtained in the qualifying exam are to be mentioned in percentage. In case of CGPA, candidates are requested to convert the CGPA into percentage as per their university norms and the same will be verified during document verification.

4. Candidates are required to bring a signed printout of the application along with the originals of the documents submitted online at the time of joining at GTRE, Bengaluru.

5. Online Applications after the last date would NOT be accepted. Incomplete or partially filled application forms would not be accepted.

Penalty – Wrong Answers for DRDO Graduate Apprentice Technician Recruitment 2024

Candidates should note that there will be a penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.

MOBILE PHONES BANNED for DRDO Graduate Apprentice Technician Recruitment 2024

• The use of any mobile phone (even in switched off mode), pager or any electronic equipment or programmable device or storage media like pen drive, smart watches, etc. or camera or blue tooth devices or any other equipment or related accessories either in working or switched off mode capable of being used as a communication device during the examination is strictly prohibited. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future examinations.
• Candidates are advised in their interest not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones or any valuable/costly items to the venue of the examination, as no arrangement for safe-keeping will be made at the venue of the examination. Commission will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.
