About the Organization / Job for CG SET 2024
The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB), CG Vyapam, has issued a notification for the Chhattisgarh State Eligibility Test (CG SET-2024). Candidates who are interested in the vacancy information and have met all qualifying requirements can read the notification and apply online.
In Medical, Ayurveda, Engineering, Agricultural Colleges, and Polytechnics by notification number F1-51/2004/42, Raipur, dated 30 July 2005 of the Government of Chhattisgarh, Higher Education, Technical Education, Manpower Planning, Science and Technology Department, Ministry of Raipur. The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board was founded to organise pre-entrance examinations and other examinations that may be authorised within this board’s authority, as well as to perform other required measures and arrangements in connection with them.
The Professional Examination Board was established by the State Government’s order number F 1-51/2004/42 on July 30, 2005. In paragraph 3 of an even-numbered order dated July 30, 2005, it states that the P.E.T. now conducted by the Board of Secondary Education would be abolished once the order for the foundation of the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board is published in the Gazette. And P.M.T. Other exams will be completed.”
The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board will be in charge of administering all admission examinations in medical, Ayurveda, engineering, agricultural colleges, polytechnics, and any other examination (that is authorised for the board’s authority).
Educational Qualifications for CG SET 2024
- Candidates must have passed /appearing a postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks from a recognised university. Candidates belonging to a reserved class like scheduled caste/scheduled tribe/ other backward classes will get 5% relaxation in their academic score criteria of 55%…. How to apply for CG SET 2024
- Below are the detailed steps that are needed to be followed while filling the application form of CGSET 2024. Candidates are required to fill in the correct information as required. Candidate should make sure that the application form should be filled out before the last day of application.

- Step 2: After clicking on the notification meant for CG SET 2024, read the notification carefully and start filling the application form
- Step 3: Pay the needed application fees after filling the form.
- Step 4: Take the printout of the application after the fees get paid.
Penalty – Wrong Answers for CG SET 2024
Candidates should note that there will be a penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.
Mobile Phones / Smart Watches / Electronic Devices are BANNED for CG SET 2024
- The use of any mobile phone (even in switched off mode), pager or any electronic equipment or programmable device or storage media like pen drive, smart watches, etc. or camera or blue tooth devices or any other equipment or related accessories either in working or switched off mode capable of being used as a communication device during the examination is strictly prohibited. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future examinations.
- Candidates are advised in their interest not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones or any valuable/costly items to the venue of the examination, as no arrangement for safe-keeping will be made at the venue of the examination. Commission will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.
