Ahmedabad Jilha Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj is one of the oldest and most pioneering societies/trusts in education, having been in operation since 1918. The Late Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj of Kolhapur not only inspired but also provided financial assistance for the society’s establishment. The creation of Late Hutatma Karveer Chatrapati Chavthe Shivaji Maharaj Maratha Boarding in 1918 marked the beginning of growth. The Residential High School (formerly known as Tagore High School) was founded in 1941. Development began to accelerate after this point.
The society/trust has mostly focused on providing education to economically disadvantaged communities, as well as famine-stricken and mountainous regions. It has set up a network of 89 educational institutions. This includes 12 higher and technical colleges, 25 higher secondary schools, 48 secondary schools, and 4 primary and ashram schools throughout the Ahmednagar district, which provide education in a variety of fields such as arts, commerce, science, education, law, engineering, management, computer science, and hotel management.

Candidates should note that there will be a penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.
Mobile Phones / Smart Watches / Electronic Devices are BANNED for AJMVPS Asst Professor Recruitment 2024

The use of any mobile phone (even in switched off mode), pager or any electronic equipment or programmable device or storage media like pen drive, smart watches, etc. or camera or blue tooth devices or any other equipment or related accessories either in working or switched off mode capable of being used as a communication device during the examination is strictly prohibited. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future examinations.

Candidates are advised in their interest not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones or any valuable/costly items to the venue of the examination, as no arrangement for safe-keeping will be made at the venue of the examination.
