The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released a Notification for the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) Exam 2024. Candidates who are interested in the position information and have met all of the qualifying requirements can read the Notification and apply online.
Educational Qualifications for KSET 2024

Candidates who have secured at least 55% of marks (without rounding off) for general category and 50% for Schedule Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disability (PwD), Transgender, OBCs i.e., Cat-I, IIA, IIB, IIIA and IIIB, in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities / institutions recognized by UGC New Delhi, in the subjects opted for KSET.

Candidates who are pursuing their Master’s Degree (First or Second Semester) or equivalent course or candidates who have appeared for their Master’s Degree (Final Year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying
examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and for those who clear the KSET, eligibility certificate will be issued only on production of proof for having passed the Master’s degree or equivalent examination securing at least 55% marks (50% in case of SC, ST, OBC i.e., Cat- I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB, Transgender and PwD candidates) within two_years from the date of KSET result, failing which they will be treated as disqualified.

Candidates with post-graduate diploma/certificate awarded by Indian University/Institute or foreign degree/diploma/certificate awarded by the foreign University/ Institute should in their own interest, ascertain the equivalence of their diploma/degree/certificate with Master’s degree of recognized Indian universities from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi
How to apply for KSET 2024

Candidates seeking admission to KSET- 2024 must apply online by visiting KEA website http://kea.kar.nic.in

To avoid any kind of inconvenience or last-minute rush or unforeseen difficulties, candidates are advised to submit Online

Application Form without waiting for the last date. KEA will not be responsible for network problems or any problem ofthis nature in submission of online application during the last day.

Candidates should register (sign up for registration) giving required details. Candidates then proceed to enter their candidature details, educational and KSET-2024 exam details. While mentioning the educational qualification candidates should mention their PG course as Passed or appearing as the case may be.
Penalty – Wrong Answers for KSET 2024
Candidates should note that there will be a penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.
Mobile Phones / Smart Watches / Electronic Devices are BANNED for KSET 2024

The use of any mobile phone (even in switched off mode), pager or any electronic equipment or programmable device or storage media like pen drive, smart watches, etc. or camera or blue tooth devices or any other equipment or related accessories either in working or switched off mode capable of being used as a communication device during the examination is strictly prohibited. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future examinations.

Candidates are advised in their interest not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones or any valuable/costly items to the venue of the examination, as no arrangement for safe-keeping will be made at the venue of the examination. Commission will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.
